Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak Felicitates Shiksha Mitras in Lucknow

Lucknow: A felicitation ceremony for Shiksha Mitras was organised in Lucknow, where Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak honoured educators by presenting them with symbolic cheques of the increased honorarium.

The event was held at Engineers Bhawan, River Bank Colony, Lucknow. As the chief guest, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak praised the invaluable contribution of Shiksha Mitras in strengthening the state’s education system and acknowledged their role at the grassroots level.

During the programme, Shiksha Mitras were symbolically presented cheques reflecting the revised honorarium of ₹18,000. The announcement was met with appreciation and enthusiasm among the attendees.

Several dignitaries attended the event as special guests, including BKT MLA Yogesh Shukla, Mohanlalganj MLA Amresh Kumar, Malihabad MLA Jai Devi, MLC Mukesh Sharma, along with the Divisional Commissioner of Lucknow and the District Magistrate of Lucknow.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of District Basic Education Officer Vipin Kumar and DC Training Awadhesh Shukla, ensuring smooth execution of the event.

Speaking at the occasion, Uttar Pradesh Primary Shiksha Mitra Association State General Secretary Sushil Kumar Yadav said that the increase in honorarium has brought happiness among Shiksha Mitras. He expressed gratitude to the state government and said that there is hope among educators that remaining issues related to Shiksha Mitras will be resolved soon.

The ceremony highlighted the government’s focus on recognising the contribution of grassroots educators and strengthening the education system through improved support and welfare measures.
